Catherine has moved from Ottawa to join the EWI Works team in Edmonton. She has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick, and a Master’s of Science specializing in Ergonomics and Occupational Biomechanics from Queen’s University.

Catherine has had experience working as an Ergonomic Consultant with the Queen’s Ergonomic Consulting Program, which has given her experience with a wide variety of ergonomic projects. Her research interests involved testing effectiveness of ergonomic aids that have been developed and designed to aid workers in lifting and load carriage tasks.

After completing her Master’s degree, Catherine decided to take a trip of a lifetime and travelled around New Zealand, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam for 6 months. Now that she is settled back in Canada Catherine is now working towards her Associate Ergonomic (AE) status with the Canadian College for the Certification of Professional Ergonomists.

Catherine is excited to be part of the EWI Works team and will be getting involved with the EWI Works blog and Twitter so you will be hearing a lot more from her soon!
